GTIA – Helping IT Organizations Demonstrate Commitment to Security Excellence
The Global Technology Industry Association (GTIA), the nonprofit membership community connecting and representing the worldwide IT channel, today announced the availability of new resources created by members for members.
Unveiled during ChannelCon, the IT channel’s premier annual conference, which took place last week in Nashville, the new resources include:
- AWIT Guidebook: Organizational Strategies for Hiring, Advancing, and Retaining Women in Technology
- GTIA Cybersecurity Guidebook for ITSPs: Tabletop Exercises to Build Customer Resilience and Preparedness
- GTIA Cybersecurity Trustmark Marketing Toolkit for Assured status Trustmark holders
“GTIA is proud to expand our growing library of educational and enablement resources aimed at empowering GTIA member companies, including ITSPs, vendors, and distributors,” said MJ Shoer, Chief Community Officer at GTIA. “One of our top priorities is to ensure our members have anytime access to tools to hire and retain talent, strengthen cybersecurity practices, and meet and exceed their business goals.”
The GTIA Cybersecurity Trustmark Marketing Toolkit, available to GTIA Cybersecurity Trustmark holders with Assured status, was designed by Pete Busam, founder of Equilibrium Consulting and a GTIA Member Champion, to help ITSPs derive more value from the Trustmark for their organizations.
“Achieving Assured status is a noteworthy accomplishment, but if an ITSP is the only one who knows it, they are missing a valuable opportunity to increase client stickiness, recruit new employees, and attract potential customers,” said Busam. “We are proud to offer ITSPs content they can use to jumpstart their marketing campaigns and collateral, including a press release template and public recognition resources; website copy, email templates, social media posts, and blog templates; checklists and content calendars.”
